The Mille Miglia was a long-term road car race held in Italy in 24 editions between 1927 and 1957. It was a circular route with start and finish from Brescia, the route was about 1 600 kilometers long, equivalent to about one thousand imperial miles, hence the name of the tender.
Since 1977, the Mille Miglia has revived in the form of a regularity race for vintage cars.
